High Tensile type Field Fence

High tensile Field Fence is made from high carbon steel wire with a carbon content of .28%. High carbon wire will stretch 4% before breaking and will not sag as much as low carbon steel wire. If installed properly, high carbon steel wire provides a maintenance free Security Fence requiring no additional re-stretching. Because high tensile Field Fence has a higher breaking strength, your project will require fewer posts spaced at greater distances, this will help you save money.

Low Carbon type Field Fence

Traditional Field Fence is made by low carbon steel wire with a maximum carbon content of .10 percent. Low carbon steel wire is easy to work with and fairly forgiving as it will stretch 11 to 14 percent before breaking. It is, however, prone to sagging, stretching and elongation over time.
